So, if you would #1 share this to "public" and to all of your groups; #2 react to it (not like) and #3 ask a question in the comments; that would be a gift :-) -- Aaron Wayne Wissner NEWS 2020 04 04 April 4 Saturday (posted on April 5 Sunday at 11:30 a.m. EDT) Prof Steve Keen is creating realistic economics for the post-crash world | Patreon  -- new post about exponential growth This Is Where The World Is On The "Corona Curve" At This Moment | Zero Hedge  -- interesting, but i...

I feel it is essential that everyone have good, useful, news so that they can make their choices daily.  Here are the reports and interviews which highlight the state of things, as they were on April 3 and earlier 2020.  My facebook friends will probably appreciate that I'm only going to make this post regarding "news" today :-) -- Aaron News to be read on Saturday, April 4th about things that happened on Friday, April 3 and earlier First, a review of my shares from yesterday What if I can't pay my mortgage? How to Keep Your Family Fed

Just a reminder: the check is NOT in the mail, so plan accordingly The $1200 (or whatever) might take up to 5(!) months to arrive (ridiculous, hopefully not that long), the unemployment might take weeks to be processed (the state governments are overwhelmed by the number of applications and the slow federal response), and the small business loans, which are start to start tonight, #1 are not even set up yet, #2 the banks don't want to do (so they won't), and #3 is only enough for about 30% of what is being requested -- so if it is first-come, first-served, then more likely than not, you're out of luck (update, only a tiny percent have actually happened as of 2020/4/7). SO, that is why everyone has to plan on no money coming in, and start to spend accordingly, namely, focus on food for you and your family and loved ones, so that you have about 2-weeks of food on hand (that you will actually eat), and so that you have money to buy food two or three or four more times over...

What States Can Do Now

Best. TV. Ever. The governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, goes on the air, state wide, on every channel, with the top three TV anchors in the state, for a full uncut hour of answering questions about the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" order as well as the state's response, and needs, to the crisis. That is available on YouTube, uncut, from NBC News under "Michigan Gov. Whitmer Holds Coronavirus Townhall" My takeaways and suggestions: 1. That everyone sign up to help on the new state web site: Help is needed in southeast Michigan, especially in the hospitals of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties -- and there is a call to all, in Michigan or not, to come help. To sign up, a brand new state web page has been set up so that ANYONE can volunteer, but in this case, ESPECIALLY anyone with any medical experience OR experience in hospitals ( Go to Michigan.gov / fightcovid19 ) 2. That the the State of Michigan lottery should be temporarily suspended for two reason...
