How to Keep Your Family Fed

Just a reminder: the check is NOT in the mail, so plan accordingly The $1200 (or whatever) might take up to 5(!) months to arrive (ridiculous, hopefully not that long), the unemployment might take weeks to be processed (the state governments are overwhelmed by the number of applications and the slow federal response), and the small business loans, which are start to start tonight, #1 are not even set up yet, #2 the banks don't want to do (so they won't), and #3 is only enough for about 30% of what is being requested -- so if it is first-come, first-served, then more likely than not, you're out of luck (update, only a tiny percent have actually happened as of 2020/4/7). SO, that is why everyone has to plan on no money coming in, and start to spend accordingly, namely, focus on food for you and your family and loved ones, so that you have about 2-weeks of food on hand (that you will actually eat), and so that you have money to buy food two or three or four more times over...

What bills do I have to pay? What bills will I pay?

Updated 2020 04 02 What bills should I pay?  Which bills should I delay? You may be wondering this especially given the need to protect your family and to support your community and your nation.  Here is are the two lists: Bills to Pay and Bills to Delay Number one is taking care of the food needs for your children, your family, those dependent upon you.  Number two is supporting those who need your payment so they can buy food.  BILLS TO PAY Food - until a plan is implemented to provide for cashless "payment" Support - so children and former spouses can pay for food Care homes - so they can buy food for your loved ones Trash removal Medicine - life prolonging Energy - gasoline, propane, natural gas, coal Association Fees - to pay for labor and fuel, ex. movement of snow, trash, roofing, etc. Direct Services - labor - anyone whose source of money comes directly from you and could be settled in cash, ex. doctor, dentist, plumber, electrician, repair, shop...
